• Paid school breaks for Assistant Teachers

• On-the-job training focused on:

  • Understanding the functions of behavior and what children are communicating

  • Practicing current, evidence-based intervention techniques that support both children and adults

  • Understanding early childhood development and pathology

  • Developing and maintaining positive, healthy child–child and child–adult relationships

  • Understanding and supporting appropriate and healthy social-emotional development

• Ongoing opportunities to build your professional “toolbox”, increasing your confidence and capacity to support children with diverse needs
